The Oasis ministry team is a dynamic group of ministers
who love God, love people, and love to help people
come to know the love of Jesus.
The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon me, for the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to comfort the brokenhearted and to proclaim that captives will be released and prisoners will be freed. He has sent me to tell those who mourn that the time of the Lord’s favor has come, and with it, the day of God’s anger against their enemies. To all who mourn in Israel, he will give a crown of beauty for ashes, a joyous blessing instead of mourning, festive praise instead of despair. In their righteousness, they will be like great oaks that the Lord has planted for his own glory.
-Isaiah 61:1-3 NLT
Nancy A. Hudson
Senior Pastor
Pastor Nancy A. Hudson - Senior Pastor & Overseer of the Oasis Churches,
long-time & faithful servant of her spiritual Mother & Founder of The Oasis
Church Ministries, Bishop Elvina E. Miller (1917—2016).
As Senior Pastor and Overseer of the Oasis Churches, Pastor Nancy brings
the creativity and inspiration of the artistic and theatrical to multiple aspects
of worship and church life. With a divine sense of God’s direction, she moves
with an amazing compassion, and is a pastor after God’s heart. While
leading the current ministry team, she also encourages the next generations
of servants in the house of the Lord by helping them discover and develop
their God-given abilities. Along with her various giftings, Pastor Nancy helps
to inspire the Hospitality Department of the church. She oversees the
kitchen ministry that not only hosts events like teas, receptions, and more
within our own walls, but also reaches beyond the walls of our church by
partnering with community services like the weekly Grab-N-Go meals.
A graduate of the Protocol School of Washington, she regularly teaches
etiquette and international protocol. Recently, she saw several dreams
come true. She published her first book, “Help Her” that details her
experience serving alongside Bishop Miller. And, in the middle of the 2020
Covid pandemic, she spearheaded the opening of a non-profit shop in
Downtown Shippensburg called The Cumberland Shop, which supports over
50 Artisans with ties to the Cumberland Valley. An avid shopper and gift-
giver, her next project may be a home goods store called, “There’s No Place
Like Home.” Nothing would surprise us!
